Grief is associated with any loss, including the loss of a person, loss of a relationship or job, or loss of health. Sometimes it is solely the loss of a cherished dream that can lead us into despair. One can experience all kinds of emotions associated with grief such as guilt, shock, sadness, or anger.
There is no medication which can restore the loss. But there is the acceptance of these feelings which is part of the healing process. Everyone grieves differently and the duration of this process varies from person to person. It is perseverance in dealing with these emotions which heals the pain.
